RLCox is a family owed, wholesale leather and Native American pottery company who has been providing quality leather, fur, hides and pottery to over nine generations of customers. Our warehouse is located at 2819 2nd St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
History
In the early 1920’s Roy L. Cox Sr. established RLCox. After the second World War around 1945 he passed it over to his son Roy L. Cox Jr. The small business was located in Albuquerque on First Street. Roy Jr. spent many years traveling around New Mexico’s pueblos and reservations collecting hides and pottery. His passion for Native American arts and the fur trade helped his business grow into a great success. He loved buying and selling quality leather and pottery. His customers now reach as far as Australia. Roy L. Cox Jr. passed away in 2009 leaving his company and knowledge with Mike and Ellen Goodson.
In March of 2014, we decided to move to a larger warehouse off Second Street. Our new facility allows us to expand our inventory and better serve our customers. We strive to continue to share Roy Jr.’s passion for leather, fur, and pottery with our customers.
